Benefits of natural hair care


It is always preferred to use natural products over artificial shop-bought products. Here are some Natural Hair Care recipes and tips have a look and try to follow them to get healthy and beautiful hair

Avocado: packed with protein and natural oils rich in Vitamins A and B

Aloe juice or gel: excellent moisturizer that enhances and accelerates skin cell growth

Lemon juice: natural astringent that opens pores and restores the pH balance of oily skin

Lavender: antiseptic toner (great for oily skin)

Nettle: stimulates hair growth

Witch hazel: natural astringent and toner

Anti-dandruff hair rinse recipe

Dandruff can be caused by hormonal disturbances, diet, stress or a fungal infection. Consult your doctor if you've had a condition for a long time. For immediate relief, try using this rinse daily to control itching and flaking.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups water
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
• 5 drops tea tree essential oil
• 5 drops rosemary essential oil

Mix and store in a squirt bottle. Shake well, massage in after shampooing and let sit for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly. (Always do a test patch as essential oils are potent.)

Egg Mask :

Egg is the best source of protein for your hair. The yolk is rich in fat and protein which is extremely moisturizing. The white is full of bacteria eating enzymes which cleanses your hair and scalp. Use a full egg for normal to dry hair. For oily hair and scalp, use only whites. Egg alone or mixed with more protein rich ingredients can be applied to the hair. This treatment can be used every two weeks or monthly. Take one egg or two depending on the length and thickness of your hair. Beat until frothy and apply it your hair and scalp.

Make sure all your hair is properly covered with egg. Cover with a shower cap and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and shampoo. If you find the smell of egg unpleasant, add a few drops of lemon juice.

Yogurt :

Dairy products like cream and yogurt can. Lactic acid in yogurt gently cleanses white fat moisturizes. Mix egg and yogurt for a deep conditioning protein treatment.

Simply, massage 3 tbsp sour cream or yogurt into your hair. Let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse and shampoo hair. You can apply this treatment every week.
